Queeny Park Rec Complex Prerequisite: KIDS 738 Backpacking/Hiking with an Infant or Toddler. Parents must register their child prior to the hike at the introductory session. From Weidman Road, enter Queeny Park, make a left onto the first road to upper parking lot. Meet at the trail head. Field trip release form required. Registration begins January 2nd. Campfire and s’mores: Babler State Park

Sit around a campfire: roast marshmallows, make s’mores, and tell stories.
We will be experimenting with different techniques for roasting marshmallows and different kinds of chocolates to make s’mores. Adults and children of all ages welcome. Event will be held at Babler State Park campfire ring behind the recreation hall. Adults and children must both register and pay. Registration begins January 2nd. Adult Backpacking Trip: Hawn State Park

Provide own transportation to Hawn State Park. Field trip release form required. Group will meet at Whispering Pine trail head in Hawn State Park at 12:00 noon Saturday, 4/12 and will hike and camp until Sunday, 4/13 at 2:00PM. Group will hike and camp along the Whispering Pine trail (10 miles). All essential hiking and camping gear provided. 3 meals provided (dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday). Participants responsible for bringing own snacks. A supply list of optional personal items will also be provided. Guided trip by Ginkgo Adventures. Registration begins January 2nd.
